Show Your WESTSIDE, the Footscray Hospital Photography Competition and more!

LaDY MoHaWK is proud to be helping shape some of Melbourne’s most exciting creative and community art projects.

Building on the success of Show Your WESTSIDE 2023, the 2024 Art Prize & Exhibition showcased over 250 talented artists and welcomed more than 600 people to its buzzing opening night. Sally created RePurpose Your Future for the National Sustainable Living Festival, a youth-led project that shone a spotlight on creativity and sustainability. As part of Green West Fest, she worked with schools and the local community to build the Tree of the Future, a permanent sculpture crafted from recycled materials. Alongside this, she has delivered numerous workshops for councils and businesses, helping communities explore art, sustainability, and creative connection.

Most recently, Sally produced Penrose RePurposed – Sustainable Art Experiences! for Wyndham City Council, transforming Tarneit’s Penrose Place into a hub of colour and community pride. She is also part of the team behind the Footscray Hospital Photography Competition (2025) in partnership with Footscray Community Arts, Plenary Group, VHBA, Victoria State Government, and Western Health — a project that will culminate in an exhibition at the new hospital.

Looking ahead, Sally will be bringing her RePurposed workshops and activations to the Be Bold Festival (Brimbank, October 2025), the Djerriwarrh Festival (Melton, November 2025) and more!
