I am a passionate Footscray Artist, who loves the inner west.

I mean, there is so much to love, right? Food, Culture, Arts..

Here is my limited edition Ode to Footscray linoprint. This print represents some of Footscrays iconic businesses, places and local personalities. I wanted both past and present to be included in this piece of art and to celebrate the awesomeness of this suburb.

Are you in there? Or is your favourite local hang-out represented? This piece is full of little details. You will find so many parts of Footscray hidden in this picture. These include: T Cavallaro & sons, Footscray Market, Jim Tzigliris from Olympic Doughnuts, Pie Thief Pies, Pride of our Footscray, Slothbar, Western Bulldogs, Whitten Oval, Teddy Whitten, Franco Cozzo, Cheaper Buy Miles, etc

Each print takes several hours to design and carve. The printing process also requires for the print to be inked up and manually placed into a printing press, creating a unique and individual art piece.

The print is then individually and carefully hand painted.

Each print is created by hand and therefore there will always be slight variations with each print.

This print was printed on acid free, sustainable bamboo paper and is signed and numbered on the front.

This print is hand printed and painted, making each and every print unique and special. ❤️🤍💙

Testimonials

Testimonial

The Royal Women’s Prevention of Family Violence Project Team engaged Sally to deliver a linoprinting workshop for a staff wellbeing day. From initial contact Sally was very easy to work with, responsive to emails and flexible to our requirements. On the day of the workshop Sally was on time and everything was very organised.

Sally was engaging and given the size of our group was able to assist individual staff members with their questions. We also loved the self-paced nature of the workshop whereby it didn’t matter if you were a little slower cutting out your lino, you didn’t hold up other team members who had finished their cutting and were ready to start pressing.

Everyone had a great day; learnt a lot and we were all able to take home our lino printing tools and an individual art piece to frame. We’d welcome Sally back anytime for another workshop and would highly recommend her for team building and wellbeing style workshops.
